American Cancer Society Appreciation Bar-B-Que

On Saturday, August 22, 2010 we hosted the annual American Cancer Society Volunteer Bar-B-Que. The menu was a yummy one, complete with our wonderful Teriyaki Bar-B-Qued Chicken and our famous Smokey Tri-Tip carving station. Of course we had all the fixin's to complete the menu including Potato Salad, Fresh Garden Green Salad, Bar-B-Que Baked Beans and Sweet Seedless Water Melon.
The day was a glorious one, sunshine with a mild breeze blowing, perfect for an afternoon function.
Dining tables were set on the upper terrace as well as on the upper north lawn. Guests enjoyed Heavenly Desserts which were donated by the sites owners and provided by Sugar, Butter, Flour.
The party was a success and all guests were comfortable and had a great time. Panetta's looks forward to hosting this party again next year making it a 4th Annual Celebration for the American Cancer Society.

Welcome To Our Blog

Thank you for checking out our blog and be sure to check back often for new information. We are excited about being able to share our knowledge on so many topics with our clients and friends.

My first topic is about email. I share this with a lot of my clients when they are in the beginning stage of the wedding planning process, and it seems to get them very excited.

Almost as soon as they are engaged most brides and often grooms too, want to use the Web as a tool to get started planning. They go to many websites and register at a lot of places with their personal email addresses. This can cause a lot of virtual congestion to their already hectic lives, there is so much information sent to their email addresses and some is very valuable for them, but some of it is just plain junk mail. I advise going to Google or to Yahoo and registering for a "wedding email address" such as "JennandJeff2010@gmail.com" so they can have all wedding emails go to one place and they can share this together. Once the wedding has happened they can close this email account and not have the junk still chasing their personal accounts.
This email account can also be used as a good place for friends and families to ask wedding questions and even RSVP information. I have had brides use it for their rehearsal invitations as well as a planning tool for many of the vendors that will be selected. There are bridal fairs to go to and you will want to be able to sign up for all the hot contests and giveaways due to engaged couples, this is part of the fun of getting married.
